Hello and welcome to my website
I’m a writer with a passion for World War Two history. I co-wrote the acclaimed Blood and Bandages – fighting for life in the RAMC Field Ambulance 1940-1946 with WW2 veteran, the late William Earl.
Between 2017-2025, I lived in Singapore where I was an FOM docent (guide) at Changi Chapel and Museum which is dedicated to the Prisoners of War and civilian internees imprisoned by the Japanese between February 1942 – August 1945. I was a regular contributor to Asia Media Centre and ExPat Living and gave public and private lectures on Singapore in WW2 and Changi’s POWs and Civilian Internees.
In July, I returned to live in the UK permanently and look forward to volunteering at the IWM London, researching my next book and paddling in an Outrigger canoe.
